The mission
of the Gloucester Biotechnology Academy is to
provide students with a strong foundation of technical knowledge and skills
to enter the workforce as valuable, entry-level professionals
within the biotechnology industry.

Gloucester Biotechnology Academy prepares graduates of Cape Ann area high schools for professional careers as entry-level laboratory technicians – a career in a field at the cutting-edge of science and technology. The program seeks a student population of young adults that represents the motivated and underserved community within Cape Ann and encourages the incorporation of the strengths of diversity and learning styles into the curriculum.

To attract the best possible candidates, regardless of socioeconomic hardship, the academy will have
NO TUITION OR FEES FOR THE 2017-2018 ACADEMIC YEAR.
